When I'm on the road, I play six or seven nights a week, and I play hard. I go through package after package of guitar strings. I use D'Addario strings exclusively. D'Addario strings sound better and last longer for the price than any others I've tried. D'Addarios stand up to the beating I give them, and still sound clear and full. Life on the road is full of surprises, so it's nice to be able to depend on at least a few things when you're out there, including the quality of your strings and your cables -- the Planet Waves products are equally tough and high quality. I've played acoustic guitar since I was thirteen, but In the past few years I've also started experimenting with classical, electric, and flamenco guitars. D'Addario makes great-sounding strings for all these styles. I'm happy to be a part of the D'Addario family.

A D’Addario Fretted player since 2004.

Tori Sparks was born in Chicago. She later lived and recorded in country music capital Nashville, though then and now she spent most of her time on the road all over the world. Since the age of 18, she has played an average of 150-200 concerts each year in 24 countries. A force of nature onstage, Tori walks the line between soulful and hilarious, blending ironic stand-up style humor with her high energy live show. In 2011, Tori Sparks made the move from Nashville to Barcelona, and in just a few years has become a household name in her adopted country. Sparks’ fifth album, El Mar (2014), and sixth, La Huerta (2017), were collaborations with Barcelona-based flamenco fusion trio Calamento and guitarist El Rubio. The bilingual project started out small but grew to be an international success, called "indescribable, incredible" (Deruting), "adventurous, pushing the envelope" (Rolling Stone), and “pure art” (Los Conciertos de Radio3, RTVE). Tori was listed as one of the five most important female voices in Spain according to rock magazine Popular1 (January 2018). Apart from her reputation as a songwriter, arranger and live performer, Tori is known as a champion of the DIY business model – her small independent record label, Glass Mountain Records, celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2017 -- and regularly speaks at universities, performing arts schools, and music conferences including South by Southwest, WOMEX, PrimaveraPro, others. Sparks is also known for actively giving back to the community through music and is the creator of The Feed Your Soul Guitar Project, a tour and folk-art auction benefiting Oxfam America. Tori regularly organizes and/or performed at numerous benefit concerts. On September 14th, 2018, Tori held a concert and live recording at legendary Barcelona venue Luz de Gas. The live album, titled Wait No More, will be Tori’s seventh record – her third with collaborators Calamento and El Rubio, and her first recorded live onstage – and will be released on limited-edition vinyl on Record Store Day 2019. Tori Sparks is proud to be endorsed by D'Addario, and exclusively uses D'Addario strings and Planet Waves instrument cables.
