| | Sizzle cymbals are kewl. What's your favorite?... Okay, now that that's taken care of, let's go off on a tangent from this "drum gear"-related thread for a minute, shall we? People are willing to kill each other if it means getting the perfect gift....so, I wrote a little song about a gig I had one Christmas...at a mall....hope you all enjoy it....kick back...maybe sip on a gin martini...huff some metallic gold spray paint...whatever. Here goes: "$300 for the trio...okay?" -by O-Lugs The snowflakes will fall 'Cuz the weather is nippy I got a gig in a mall A guy is dressed like a Gypsy All the kiddies are crying Smell the poo in the air Parents are buying And nobody cares Charge cards are swiping People are griping A Scottish band is marching through Bagpipes are piping Chocolate ice cream-covered faces Sugar overdose Their kids have a lot But those kids have the most The Christmas song... Everybody knows... A turkey and some mistletoe My Roc-N-Soc Nitro throne Set real low I hope my custom drum kit Sounds okay out front Because I really want it To impress all the runts Hands covered in goo "Awww, isn't that cute?" "He likes your drums!" "My daughter plays the flute" "We really enjoyed your music!" "Do you guys have a card?" "We're throwing a little party!" "How much do you guys charge?" Although it's been said many times, many ways Merry Christmas Merry Christmas Merry Christmas to... $500 for the quartet $400 for the trio "$300 for the trio...okay?" DEAL! ....you. Hear those sleigh bells? Oh...wait...That's just the tattoo artist guy who has all the piercings. Ho! Ho! Ho!

| | It would have to be settled in your basement considering that you won't even drive over a bridge to try out Lunar's snare after you "called her out". ..and Merry Christmas to you. |

| No, that is incorrect. I WILL drive over a bridge to try out Luna's snare drum....shell. But, I have a life going on and so does the owner of the studio where the drum is located. I understand that maybe some people might see it as some kind of duty of mine to make this happen asap, but the reality is that almost everything has a higher priority than making those arrangements. Hopefully, it will happen sooner than later, but 50% of that also depends on when the owner is available, too. Consider his perspective in this, as well. The "priority" for this to happen, from his perspective, is considerably lower than my own.Mazeltov!
