| I get the polish right at WalMarts. I also use Finger Ease which seems to help with the longevity of the strings as well.

| | How does the Finger Ease apply to the strings? I've always used GHS Fast Fret as a string lubricant, which comes in a cool applicator. Fast Fret rocks! I understand that string lubricants should not be used on coated strings, though. The lubricating chemical reacts with the coating, creating some sort of "gunk" which dampens the strings.

| It is in a spray form. What I like about it is you can spray the back of the neck as well, makes it slick as heck.

| | How does Finger Ease differ from something like String Life or Fast Fret? Looks interesting because you can use it on the neck...... Only fear with these items is they can interfere with the string cleaners like the chapin cleaner I use. They can interact causing dull strings. |
