Question about D'Addario KXL strings

I'm thinking about switching from the XL strings to the KXL strings, and was wondering if the soldered twists of the KXL strings contain any lead.

Also, I don't use a Kahler tailpiece, but the KXL strings should work just fine with my Strat (with vintage-style tremolo bridge), right?

I'll post to bump this up to the top.  Hopefully someone can post good answers to these questions.

My guess is that the solder is lead-free, but guitar strings don't have to be RoHS-compliant.  Hopefully our Admin will have a solid answer on the solder.
