| | I recently got a Washburn AB90 semi hollowbody bass guitar. Because it has four inches between tail piece and bridge, i need a string length of a minimum of 44 inches to string this bass. Obviously i am having troubel finding strings to accommodate. Does D'Addario make any bass string sets this long? |

| Our Super Long strings taper at 38" from the ballend. Measure the distance from where the ballend locks in to the nut. If this is less than 38" you should be OK. If it is over 38" the taper will start over the fretboard and our longest strings will be too short for this unique bass. Let us know! Thanks. Admin |

| This is a complaint I have about the scale of D'addario Strings. Long scale is not 34" by modern standards. D'addario strings are 1/4 too short for some 34" basses depending on the design. 34' Scale is standard for the majority of modern bass guitars. 35" and beyond should be considered long scale. Be that as it may, if D'addario would make the windings 1/4 or 3/8" longer on the Low B and E string, I could use my favorite strings XL 170s. My guess is a lot of players are having this same issue.
Hey, is anyone listening?
PS. I have posted this issue to your support e-mail address several times. You know, the one that promises a 24 hour response. A-hmmmmm......not! |

| | god quit whining that d'addario doesn't have strings which fit the ab90. the rep was kind enough to tell you the length then you complain. What string company has strings long enough and care enough to answer. Shut up, whiner. Just shut up. |

| Ugly reply, adds nothing, helps no one.
Perhaps anger management might be in order. Spend your misplaced anger practicing and make something positive of your self. Have a good day. |

| Try DR's. They will fit.
