Who here has an SX guitar or bass and if you do, what do you think of it?

For more info on SX go to www.rondomusic.net .

I don't have either, but they sound interesting.  Have you got one?

I purchased a 5-string Jazz Bass copy a year ago. By comparison: I own a '63 Fender Jazz 4-string. Naturally, the SX doesn't have quite the mojo or tone, but it's pretty close. Solid, straight neck, good fretwork, passable electronics. It's a lot of bang for the buck. I own a couple of other Rondo items, like an Agile PRS copy. There a good company to do business with and they deliver a good product.

Kurt owner of Rondo is a standup guy a brings a great product line to the market, that proves quality doesn't always mean you nee to take out a loan to get music gear. I have purchased other gear from him, but have yet to buy a guitar.

Yes. I have an SPB 62, had an SJB 57 but sold it, I also had the Brice Beatle Bass which is far superior to a Hofner and only costs $269.00!   I was a DOPE for getting rid of that one, Im still kicking myself in the arse for it!  Also had a Brice 5 string the $ 269.00 model that I sold to an aspiring young musician because I felt sorry for him.  For the $$ they are good beater axes the SX's, the Brices are good period and often given a bum rap because of the name. Rondo doesn't have the Brice Beatle basses in stock right now boy I miss that bass.
