My guitar is bright. It has maple b/s with a sitica top and a mahogany neck. I play classic rock and blues with a bit of fingerstyle. So far, with every string I've tried the guitar only sounded good for fingerstyle work. Since I put flat top med. on the guitar, it now sounds good for fingerstyle, blues and classic rock. It sounds like a new guitar to me. I love the sound I get from flat tops. I've found my favourite string. Just wanted to let you know.

Glad you like them, too!

I've used Flat Tops quite often on my dulcimers, and have always loved the tone and feel of them as well!
