| I purchased one of these and it is the best cable Iv'e ever owned. I play bass and this cable is directed more for Jazz guitar but let me tell you, the frequency response of this cable is greater than that of the Bass specific cable. Nice gold plated plugs, 14 guage cable {FAT Baby!} and strain resistant plug ends. I got the 21 footer and it was $59.00. I could actually hear a difference with this cable though. I know many companies claim improved sound blah, blah, blah, but this one actually delivers. I use a Jazz Bass { actually 3}, and it does justice for all of them. It's better than the bass cable!

| | What else have you compared it to? I always thought that the Monster cables were all just hype. I also get annoyed at the different "grades" of Monster cable - crappy, less-crappy, and best. Phil Jones Bass makes some bass-specific cables, which are supposed to be good. They do make the best bass amps on earth, anyway: http://www.philjonesbass.com/Products%20page.htm

| Compared it to Live Wires, Planet Waves regular and Circuit Breaker, Pro Co StarGuards, Fender Electrovolt, and the Monster Bass specific cable. The Jazz cable is way better.
