| I'm thinking about buying a B.C. Rich Beast, I've only been playing for 3 years and I've only experienced guitars with a Floyd Rose. I'm like Heavy Metal and my band requires a guitar that can be dropped to C or a lower tuning. I've used a Jackson PS2 and I haven't been able to get it lower than a D. I'm now using a Vintage Metal Axxe Warp with a high fret, if I drop it to a C then I lose the 12th frets which means I have to raise the action but it's got so bad that I can't get the 12th frets back. Would I be able to successfully get a B.C. Rich Beast to a drop C tuning with any gauge strings and have no problem with losing frets or any "slack" strings? Also, are they worth paying £400 - £700 for?
