XL 157 baritone strings Rate Topic Display Mode Topic Options Author Message titan1x Posted 2/20/2008 7:07 AM Forum Newbie Group: Forum Members Last Login: 2/22/2008 6:28 AM Posts: 2, Visits: 6 I am looking at buying a baritone guitar, and they have several scale lengths from 26.5 to 28 inches. i am considering the XL 157 baritone mediums, but it says nothing about varying scale lengths. anyone know if it does not matter (just more string to cut off) as long as its a "baritone" guitar using "baritone" strings. specifically the schecter C1 EX and ESP MHB 400. most likely the ESP. also, i saw something mentioned on another set of baritone strings referring to a 3/4 scale length, any idea what that means?
