I saw this demo.  It sounded even better.  The drumbal is pretty cool but my concern is people trying to use it before they've mastered the basics.  It never fails, anyone I give a lesson too comes in thinking, "WOW.  That stuff is cool.  How do I do it?"  I respond with, "Learn the basics first."  But for the accomplished MUSICIAN (notice I didn't say DRUMMER), this is some really neat schtuff.

Yeah, I did the same stuff to my teacher and it all still comes down to learnin' the basics and applying them throughout your kit. I'm still always learning.

Oh how true that is.  Anyone that says their done learning just lost it all.  There is a great youtube interview with Neil Peart when he is talking about the making of "Burning for Buddy" where even the Professor took lessons to prep.  (Or it might be from the interview portion of the DVD it's self... can't remember for sure.)
