The log-off bug has been hitting me bad lately, despite an 8MB connection and no multitasking. This is super annoying!

Aha! That's what's doing it! I tend to multitask as I peruse the forums. Perhaps this info can help the D'Addario web people in making adjustments to the forums. :)

This happens to me intermittently, but only when I have limited bandwidth, i. e. when I'm uploading/downloading enough that web pages load noticeably more slowly. If I limit the traffic through my modem to a reasonable level, or don't have any programs running that access the web a lot, I don't have any trouble.

Ugh! I've been logged off nearly a dozen times in just a few minutes! It seems as though one out of every three clicks I make in the forums results in my being logged out. This is annoying!

Is anyone else still getting hit by this?

Bleh - Running into the logging off thing again tonight. Had the dreaded error message a few times the other night. Best way to combat this is to simply go into my Internet Favorites, click on my shortcut to the main forums page, and reload the forums. It automatically re-logs me back in.

Perhaps the forum bug is simply a problem where the forum can't always access out internet cookies...

Perhaps they're tinkering with the website to fix it, and it got worse before things are fixed. ;)

Thanks Dulci! I've noticed this lately too! I have passed on to our IT team and they're looking into it. Major pain in the butt! We should have it fixed soon...

Forums Logging Users Off

The forums are automatically logging me off again, which is annoying. I'm logged in, then I click on a specific forum, and then I'm suddenly logged off. Cookies are enabled, so that's not the problem. It's a bit annoying...
