im home alone with her tomorrow. everyones at school or work so ill give it a real lookover and a decent test drive.

i usually wrap these up put em under the tree and tease the fam for a week or two before christmas but this year my vacation is over the day after christmas. cant see waisting that whole week and not playing it so im going to open her on the first day of my vacation. one week and countin//o-o\\

it arrived today. 48 hours after i made the final payment. i wont dwell on looks although i will say the picture does it no justice. its lite as a feather, smooth as silk and the tone is just heavenly. Taylor had an ad campaign that said "it only took John 3.5 seconds to know...." all it took was one strum on my Taylor to know.

guys the craftsmanship is PERFECT!!!it plays like nothing ive ever tried. the neck on this thing is absolutley awsome. i may end up selling a gibson or two and replace them with Carvins. im that sold, just that quick. and the service has so far been exactly as ive heard it was-great.

i dont see this making it all the way to Christmas without me having my way with her.

Wowee! That's a sharp lookin axe!

I guess I'm just not creative enough - I only ever ordered new gear once, and when they asked me what color I wanted, all I could think of was 'black'. After seeing some of the sharp new axes my friends are getting posted here, I think I'll explore the options next time.

BTW, Relli, when's it coming?

well i made the decison and the new Carvin is on the way. i went with a California Carved Top -quilted maple antique deepburst, dot inlays, blk chrome, ebony fret board.
