As drummers, the people on stage we connect with the most tend to be the guys (or maybe gals) with four strings on their big guitars. The ones who help us lay it down...

So tell us, with which bass player did you find it easiest to "lock in"?[/quote]

Well ... on the electric bass, Jaco was definitely a joy to play with. His time was the best. An incredible musician, and a very fun human being ~ good combination.

I also love to play with Will Lee ~ he always makes a drummer sound good!
Dave Carpenter. Jimmie Johnson. Abe Laboriel. Neil Stubenhaus. John Patitucci. Lincoln Goines.
ACOUSTIC ~ Dave Carpenter, Patitucci, Marc Johnson, Dave Holland, Darek Oles, Chuck Berghofer, Eddie Gomez ... man, I am one lucky drummer!

Question #3(?)

OK Peter, I'm a rock guy (check out the avatar!) and am kinda clueless about much jazz/fusion but I know enough about your career to know that you've played with many phenomenal musicians.
