| I've not played the Spyder myself, but I've heard great reviews from everyone I know who has played it. I personally don't like in-built effects (give me a bag full of stompboxes any day!), so I use the now dis-continued DuoVerb, and on the evidence of that, Line6 make some great gear. Having said that, I've head good things about Hughes & Ketner too. Check out Harmony Central's amp review page at: http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data/#man . It's always worth going to look in their user reviews section before buying any gear. Anton

| Hughes and Ketttner is a superior product. Better consrtucted. The Line 6 is quite good though if you like digital amps. Me personally I like tube or Mosfet but can't afford them. So I gotta settle for a good solid state. Presently an SWR Workingmans 15.
The Hammer.
