| Hey, Matt. At the risk of sounding like a whiner, I bring this up. Are you aware of issues with the 'Search' feature of the new software? I tried searching for a post I knew I had made, and came up with no search results. Then I tried searching for every post I had made (using the link from my profile), and came up empty. Then I tried to search for other peoples' posts from their profile links. Depending on which user I search, sometimes I get handed all their posts, and sometimes I get nothing. SG
Hey - Where are we going? And why am I in this handbasket? |

| I'm working on this SG. There are a few things that need to be tweaked a little. Such as: Timing out too soon, automatic double spacing, spell check not working, time zones are off, At the risk of opening the flood gates, please feel free to list other issues you feel need to be addressed. Thanks. Matt |

| Well, I promise you won't get a flood from me! The only other thing that I've tried that hasn't worked as I expected is the 'Recent Topics' menu. The 'Posts since my last visit' option looks cool, but currently returns no posts when invoked. I would guess that this is linked to the time zone issue, and I'm sure it will be resolved in due course. We've all had experiences with new software and realize what a PITA it can be. I think that we're a pretty patient bunch, so fight the good fight, and all will be well in the end. Thanks, SG edit: sometimes the 'next oldest/next newest' buttons work in reverse - another time zone thing, perhaps?

| Still working on these, but I have noticed something... When you are doing a search or using some other "action" key, you need to actually press the "button" to make it work. Some systems allow you to simply press the enter key, but this one will seem to be working and doesn't. Matt |

| That's interesting. Usually, that'll work. That being said, I just did a quick test without using the keyboard and encountered the same problem. Like I said before, Matt, we do feel your pain SG
