| I bought a box of your "GCS alto sax #2-3"(3 boxes!), A box of your "Rico Jazz Select Filed Alto Sax #2.5", A box of your "Frederick L. Hemke Alto sax reeds #2.5"... They Were Horrible, airy, nasty, just yuck... I spent $70.35 for 1 or 2 "ok" reeds. I will not recomend these to anyone! Raspy_sax Chuck |

| Hi Chuck, I am sorry to hear that none of those brands were working on your particular setup. With such a diverse mix of different mouthpieces and facings for the saxophone it is sometimes hard to zero in on the correct reed and strength. If you wouldn't mind submitting your setup information (ie. mouthpiece brand, tip opening, etc) we will look into finding the right reed and strength that might work better for you. Thanks,

| I have a Kielwerth SX90R saxophone; a Vandoren V16 mouthpiece, Vandoren JAVA mouthpiece, Vandoren V5 mouthpiece, a Pomarico Woodline Mouthpiece. I tried them on all 4. I even preped the reeds ( I soaked them in warm water for 2-3 minutes, then I sat them on a flat glass surface and wiped the reed with my finger ). My ligatures are: Vandoren optimum series, Oleg Olegature, BG Super Revolution, and a Grand Concert Select H Ligatures. Raspy_sax, Chuck |
