| I was shocked and saddened by the news of Delp's passing. Somehow, I thought he'd live to be a hundred.

| | Wow. Suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning (two charcoal grills in a sealed bathroom.) What a complicated and sad way to go...

| | Damn, what a talented man. Why?, couldnt anyone reach him?, talk to him?. I wish i could have talked with him during his depression, maybe i could have said something?, i myself am prone to bouts of deep depression but you ride it out and things have a way of getting better, at least tolerable. I grew up with that band. It pisses me off that someone in the band, anyone! didnt reach him. What can you say. |

| When I first made this thread, I didn't know the cause of death. And now that we know it was suicide, I just feel all the more saddened and shocked. I can't imagine how awful his relatives, friends and bandmates must feel. I hope no one close to him feels responsible for his death. That would be a lot of unnecesssary guilt to carry.
