| I've been drinking solidly since thursday. Went to see the pogues to commemorate the occasion as well. I figure I'll be seeing leprechauns by sunday at the latest.

| well ,had a blast last night at the club in newark ....man took to hours to get there ,which on the norm takes 20 mins .but we got there ,,,,now not many people were out and about last night ,,,but the ones who came .they had a blast ....my buddy billy ray showed up all in green .played some old irsish music for the ol folks .danny boy was one of them ....plus few others .he was so in to it ...our band played 2 sets ..eat some food ,,first time in long time i did not over do the drinking ,,,,knew i had long hard drive home last night ...........but the sleet had stoped by time we left last night .........thank god ....took 95 home which was clear also ...but all in all was good time out ....and our new lead player stev,,,,,,big hell yeah for him .we used his pa ,which was one of the best i ever sang threw ....plus was easy gig to play as well.......they love us there....post comander was very impressed we made it last night because of the weather .......but hell no big deal far as driven in it ......the wife had hard time dealing with the wrecks and other things going on in out travles there .but she was fine after we got there ......any how thanks to all who were there last night ,,,,,,and shame on ya who did not make it ..but we understand the weather was bad ,,any how ,,,,,,be safe out there ...those of you who will be out and about .this chilly day and night ........have a drink on me.......watch out for the unicorn.s/////////lp57

| thats good to hear stu .far as ya not driven that is ...hell alot of crazy people out there .and last night there were alot of them ..but had to take my ford pick up last night .she did dam good .hell all those pounds in the back with the pa cabs .my amp ..did not slip at all ....wife would of felt better if we took the blazer,,,has 4 wheel drive ,but little s 10 chevy .not alot of room in the back for those pa cabs ...... now taken the sub way ,,yeah back in the day when i was in dutch land we used them alot .....being in the army was good thing to do ..but got to watch out for those stops ....ya know after drinking most of the night ,at times falling a sleep or just not thinking to clear and missing your stop .that sucked big time ....then have to re route your game plan all over again ......lol......one time went to see concert missed our stop in frankfurt ,ended up 75 miles out of our way ,,late getting back to the post .plus the hang over .capt yelling at us for being late .....yeah those were the dazes allright  ..... lp57
