| Although I didn't catch the show, this sounded so cool that I had to search for it online! It has microphones for handlebars! It's on page 6 of the bikes on this link of their website: http://www.orangecountychoppers.com/occ/onairtheme.html

| Dunno. I could never get into American Chopper and that whole Orange County Chopper thing. While the paint and bodywork is undeniably impressive, the fact remains that they build essentially the same bike every damn time - even if they do occasionally do cool things like tack on an amp. There's never any attempt at engineering or consideration as to how their bikes will handle or perform, which, like the expletive laden father-son drama, quickly becomes very tedious. I'll take less character-driven fare like "Top Gear" or "Junkyard Wars" anyday.

| | Chuck, if you're not sure what I'm saying, then re-read the post until you are. I wasn't saying that OCC "suck" or anything to that effect. My point was that they only focus on the cosmetic aspects of motorcycle design. Nothing against pretty paint and shiny chrome, but more serious gearheads such as myself find that boring very quickly. If you look at the bikes more closely, you'll notice they use the same frames (mid 1940's H-D hardtail), engines, and frame geometry (low, and with the front wheel way the hell in front, to bypass the issue of tuning the front suspension). From a design perspective, their heads are stuck in the 1940's.
