| Jimi Hendrix's wah (that originialy belonged to Jimmie Lee Vaughan) was by Vox not Dunlop so why did they try to replicate it?

| Trashocaster056 (3/23/2008) Jimi Hendrix's wah (that originialy belonged to Jimmie Lee Vaughan) was by Vox not Dunlop so why did they try to replicate it?Hendrix used a tweaked wah with more bottom end to it, and for some reason Vox doesn't offer this feature on their wahs. It's cool that someone makes a wah with that tweak, anyway. Dunlop does claim that Hendrix and Clapton both used Crybaby wahs, but I know that both used Vox. Did they use both brands?

Did they use both brands? im not sure about Clapton but i know for fact that Hendrix used a Vox wah. but however Hendrix and Jimmie Vaughan traded pedals so it's possible he used a crybaby before that. and i wouldnt take this as an answer. its just a hypothesis, but, maybe somewhere along the road Clapton was endorsed by Dunlap or somethin and only used it cause he had it layin around

| | Personally, I use the Behringer Hell Babe and I much prefer the sound to that of the cry baby. Ben
