| | Why do you need the SansAmp? Do you simply need a direct box to go into a mixer or something? This rig is for an electric guitar, I assume? What's the rest of the gear that you're using? I can't see why you would need the SansAmp... I found one here: http://www.pedalgeek.com/cgi-bin/new_shop.cgi?config=&uid=SxwAcgAA1168602877&command=link--gt2

| | Oh! Yeah - I've heard good stuff about the SansAmp. I personally use the Hartke VXL Attack Pedal for my bass, as it has all of the features of the SansAmp. It was highly recommended to me by another bassist while I was pondering the SansAmp, and the Hartke direct box preamp pedal runs only about $65: http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=1734&brandID=3 When shopping for the SansAmp, I just wanted a direct box and preamp to go into the mixer so that I wouldn't have to lug around my 90 pound bass amp everywhere. Its EQ and overdrive/distortion features were like icing on the cake. When used as a direct box, you can also put your bass effects in an effects loop on it; so this might be something you might like.
