| | Saw there's a recall on those on the homepage of planet waves. Did go through the FAQ before considering posting on here. I was just about to go and buy one... should I worry or is there a replacement already being shipped to retailers?

| | I sent a message to our forum Admin, who will hopefully be able to post an answer on Monday. I had wondered about this as well. My guess is that everything was recalled, but I don't know anything about if upgraded units have been sent out to retailers. All I know is what I've read on the page:

| That's all I know also, I kept the recall notice in my email when I got it, waited after the holidays to go and shop for this (I did ask Santa for it but didn't get it) Checked online first to clear the recall things but seems I'll have to wait a bit more.

| | I have had a reply from customer service... basically no fix to it yet to check back the webpage if it's not updated the stuff is not yet fixed. So in the meantime I can either isk buying a Humidipak wich is pointless since it woudl be on the recall list anyway or get that other planet waves humidifer system(teh one that involves syringe and putting in water etc). I liked the idea of the Humidipak with the refill packettes because it's maintenance free and basically dummy proof... sure probably more expensive down the road buying all the refills over time but that's not worse than buying strings plus lets face it you also get Player's Points  I'll wait a bit and see I do NEED such a thing for my one of kind acoustic as I wouldn't like to see any damage to it as this one most likely will be passed to teh next generation. I never used any such system in the past and had guitars lasting at least 12-15yrs with no issues but again I never had one before that came with a certificate of authenticity either...
