| | Hello, I co-direct a music school ...www.bachtorock.com. I was just about to order up to 16 PWCT-O4 Pedal Tuners....then I researched thoroughly...and came upon this issue about noise when hooked up to other devices. And the noise happens when it's in tune (mute-the-amp) mode...ugh!! Ugh?? Seems like such a solid tuner but I just can't commit that kind of $$$ Questions: Has it been fixed? How do I know it's the 'new' fixed version? (can't seem to find a serial number ...even in battery compartment) Is a more 'quiet' model coming out before the summer? Any updates on this would be greatly appreciated. Crunchie. |

| | Yes, this problem has been corrected long ago already. I bought my CT-04 in January of 2006, and received the updated and noise-free version. By now, all CT-04 pedal tuners available from retailers will be the updated model. You can tell the updated units apart by on on/off indicator LED and smaller packaging. You should be 100% safe. Where do you plan to purchase the tuners? This retailer is super nice, and is where I bought my CT-04 and other Planet Waves gear: http://www.midi-classics.com/g/g36158.htm Phone him up, and he will likely cut you a good deal on your tuners.
