Plastic coated reeds Rate Topic Display Mode Topic Options Author Message FredB Posted 3/16/2008 2:15 PM Forum Newbie Group: Forum Members Last Login: 3/16/2008 2:06 PM Posts: 2, Visits: 2 I've been using Rico Plasticote clarinet reeds. I've notice that after some use the plastic coating starts to flake off during playing and I assume that I swallow some. Has anyone heard anything the toxicity of this stuff?
