| Quick question. I'm using EJ16's (12-53) at the moment and am thinking about changing to EJ19's (12-56). Does the truss rod need to be adjusted for this or will everything be ok? |

| | You shouldn't have to with a change that small. Check the intonation on it after you make the change. Welcome to the forums!

| Thanks. I changed the pick which help make it a bit more bassy. |

| Taylor (3/24/2008) Quick question.

As Dulci says, it's most unlikely that you'll need to adjust anything for this string change... but truss rod tweeks are not as scarey as you might think, as long as you do it little-by little. I hope the EJ19s give you the sound you're after

| I did change strings to EJ19's. The neck did bend a bit making action 1mm more. I changed back to EJ16's as the 19's made my guitar sound to muddy. Thanks for the help. |
