O-Lugs (9/4/2008) The Old Testament and the New Testament are supposedly the words of God....
The words of God in the minds of the many men who wrote it...through visions, angels & dreams...etc..and the New Testament..in the words of the apostles/disciples of Christ...right?
I guess so. But, as always, what I don't "get" is why God would create all the various dangers and pitfalls that life seems to have for everyone. He, being the source of everything, brought all the evils into play, as well. But, instead of admitting that he didn't get it right, he just kept punishing everybody with floods and pillars of salt and plagues and tortures of mind and body...etc. And all we are is human...not Gods....so God has everything perfect for himself, but we are always sinning and getting punished or damned to Hell = AKA another place God created. The God concept and Heaven and all that....man, I hope so....but I just don't know.
Supposedly, the stone tablets that the ten commandments were written on was made by God. And, if the translations of the commandments is correct, then I am ska-rewed! Man, I covet so many things, it's not even funny.
But, here's the latest...
Maybe humans only think they are the "end of the line" evolutionarily speaking. But, maybe we aren't maybe we humans will never make it to Heaven. Maybe it's going to be the next being that becomes most aligned with "God". Maybe we are typing these words on a very early form of a new being. Maybe we are building the DNA by creating machines that get smarter and smarter until they no longer need us to feed them. Then a big boulder flies out of the sky one day and the humans all get snuffed out....but the machines rebuild themselves...until, in the year 20 billion, machines are running around in gangs and painting graffiti on walls. The End.

| i don't wanna turn this into this whole oprah show now and make everyone bring out their tissues and sh!t like that, but for the last 3 years i've been struggling a lot with my health and as of late(about 3 months) i have to go to the hospital once a week which i absolutely hate. not because what i have to deal with in there but because i always see so many people seriously sick or grown men coming out of the ER room crying. and i hate that. i hate it that there is so much crap we have to deal with and how many people are suffering in this world and it really makes me sad to see that. and to be honest, this is not a world i want to be in. because - as ET or someone mentioned - god made us this way and the world this way, so why do we want him. And, if he is willing to send us to hell and have all this crap done to us, i kind of doubt that he loves us. i would never even dare to threaten the people i love that they might go to hell - if i had the power of course.

| | Wow, I'm sorry to hear about any bad news or negative thoughts or the bad scenerios that are happening but just as all things mentioned there are equally an amount of good and beautiful things happening too. I try to look at those things and focus on them to keep me sane and from turning gray etc. I know everyone sees God their own way no matter what knowledge of it is out there. When I look at something, does everyone see it the same way I do? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows? I just Pray to whatever God there may be or the great creator of it all, that it works out the best for all of us. We have knowledge of Dinosaurs that were before us from artifacts found on or in the earth (which there were no cavemen and sh!t ever found during that time and we just evolved as beings afterward!) and the limited things that we've learned through science in space and health care etc. I think it was Carl Sagan who mentioned, on the calendar of life, we're only a couple days or in the middle of the month of January on our knowledge of it all. Who knows how many times this planet has evolved and changed because we can only know from what we've found in the dirt until it's again melted back into the earth and spewn out of a volcano into new earth on this living planet. I'm not making judgement on God for whats happening to us and how people are sick and suffering etc. We need to look at how we can make it better for ourselves. In a John F. Kennedy sorta quote, "Ask not what God can do for you, Ask what you can do for God!" O-Lugs, you're hilarious with that robot sh!t, but I don't think any of it is impervious to lava or the many thermo-nuclear bombs that we'll probably destroy ourselves with! (That's gotta be one of the greatest achivements of the Devil, if you will... not the bombs, but the wars that have progressed to a point where we sought mass destuction and actually found/had the knowledge to create such) Like you've mentioned though, when the machines are impervious, that's when we may have to worry! |

| I don't agree with what Slayer is saying or the way that Jesus camp is running either! Both are makin' me feel kinda sick actually. Here I was all thinkin' about good things and was slammed right back to the ground with reality and that there's a world of weirdos that'll never be on the same plain of thought about what's right and wrong. I guess I'd be one of them because everyone's mind is different in the way they see and think things. Damn it. GOD HATES US ALL! Of course I don't agree with that statement but it does make one have mental torment right back to the beginning with the question, Why? |
