| im leanin towards G2 clear for the toms but im not sure if theyll be right. i want a aaron gillespie sorta sound and they need to be durable

| If you are into G2s buy the coated version, the clears are very bright and have a long sustain. But for that metal sound the Remo Pinstripes or the Evans EC2 or Hydraulics will be fine.
Just my two cents.
My other drumset is a Stenway. |

| well, what kind of kit do you have? wood?
putting EC2s on a birch kit will sound different then putting them on a maple kit.

| | How many stupid "what heads to buy" threads are you going to start? I thought you said you already had G2's (and moonjels) . Either way, your CB drums will never sound like your favorite hero's drums, regsrdless of the heads. |
