Did any of you get to go to the Pasic's Convention in Nashville this week. I got to go along time ago back in 2001 when I was a ETSU student and it was so cool. If anyone was there tell me all about it this year. What cool new stuff did they have and who did the clinics this time. Oh oh, and does anyone know how the ETSU drumline did.

I can't believe that no body went to the Pasic's Convention in Nashville. I want to hear about it. What was new and how were the drummer clinics and stuff.

I'm a man of few words Mr. Mongo.  Especially for this little kitty.

I went.  Had a great time.  Gary Chafee was phenominal, great info, great speaker.  I wish he I had private lessons once a week with this guy.  Major respect.  His voice sounds just like Frank Sinatra's.  That New York/Italian sound.

Sonny Emery (sp?) put on a great 'show-off' clinic, but I'm not a big fan of those types of clinics.  I prefer to learn something other than by just watching someone solo.

Morgan Rose: the main reason why I went.  Great player, hits harder than anyone I've ever seen.  This was his first clinic so it was a little unorganized, but his humor made up for it.

The displays were cool, but I didn't go for the retail/merchandise aspect.
