| I received this email today from Charlie Sawyer. He is a Professor at Harvard University as well as an accomplished harp and accordian player. He is in every sense of the word a "bluesman" He has also written a book on BB King and is very good friends with him. Here is Charlies band site for those interested: www.2120southmichiganavenue.com Here is the email: Hi, Bill,
Sorry you didn't make it to Portsmouth last Saturday. We had a blast, good audience, good music.
I'm doing a show (Tues, Jan. 18th) in Cambridge and I'd be very glad if you and Shirley Lewis could come and do a couple of songs. It's the final meeting of my blues history course at Harvard Extension. We're meeting in The Overdraught Pub, 877 Cambridge St. The music will start at 7:30 with the 2120 band and we'll call up guests around 8:30 Hope you can come,
--Charlie

| What a night a blast, it was great to play and be around so many people that love the Blues. The music flowed like good beer or a fine wine all night. The weather was fridgid outside (-10) but scorching guitar licks and a boogie beat kept everyone heated up inside! I have another show Thursday night, one on Saturday and on Sunday, the new band is going to debut at a jam.
