Hi Matt,

Thanks for the nice new forum. Looks great!

I have a few questions:

1. It does not seem possible to use descriptive text for a hyperlink. It used to be possible to provide a link to a web page and instead of displaying the entire link, just provide some descriptive text, e.g: click here.

2. It does not seem possible to edit a quotation when replying, so that just the salient point is displayed rather than a big slab of text.

Is it possible to change any of this for us?

-Peter

There is a hyperlink option located next to the add picture link in the reply task bar. The hyperlink option looks like a globe and chain link. Anybody figure out the quote thing yet?

Hi Poops,

I tried the hyperlink button but it only inserts the link - there doesn't seem to be an option to insert descriptive text.

Well, what I did is not really figuring it out, but more of a work around. I just highlight the text I want and copy, then paste it into my reply, put quotes around it, and "bold" it. Works for me!

Yeah, or I guess you could insert a table like this Ý , but it would be good if it was less of a manual operation.

test = test

That's the only way I can get it to auto link.
