This is my first post so here goes:
I'm looking to buy a completely new cymbal set-up for my set (Yamaha stage custom advantage) to replace my Zildjian ZBT's. I play rock-type music (sounds kind of like the band Thursday), i'm wondering if you guys have any comments on the list i have here, and tell me which cymbals i should take out of each category. I have been playing for 4.5 years now and i've grown out of my old cymbals, plus the crash and hi-hat i have now are beginning to crack.

Hi-Hat (tell me which to choose):
14" Zildjian A-custom mastersound hi-hat
OR
14" Zildjian Z-custom mastersound hi-hat

Crash1 (used for accents):
16" Zildjian A-custom Fast Crash

Crash2 (used for accents and sometimes to ride on in heavier parts of the song)(tell me which one of these to choose):
Zildjian 18" A-custom Fast Crash
OR
Zildjian 18" A-Custom Medium Crash
OR
Zildjian 18" A-custom Projection Crash

Ride (tell me if you have any other suggestions for a ride that may be better than the one i have chosen here):
Zildjian A 20" Rock Ride

well, I suggest you try them all out to see/hear what YOU like.

that's the most important thing, really. I know the Z CUSTOMS are VERY bright & loud, but I am going to assume the A CUSTOMS are MORE MUSICAL. Again,, that is ONLY an ASSUMPTION.

But, if I had to choose.. I suppose...

Hi-Hat (tell me which to choose):
14" Zildjian Z-custom mastersound hi-hat

Crash1 (used for accents):
16" Zildjian A-custom Fast Crash

Crash2 (used for accents and sometimes to ride on in heavier parts of the song)(tell me which one of these to choose):
Zildjian 18" A-Custom Medium Crash

Ride (tell me if you have any other suggestions for a ride that may be better than the one i have chosen here):
Zildjian A 20" Rock Ride

ZILJIAN K RIDE.. THE LARGER THE BETTER 22"

IN FACT,, ALL ZILJIAN K'S ARE FRIGGIN GREAT!

TRY THEM ALL OUT,, I'M A GUITARIST.

PEACE
