| There are plenty of better products than lemon oil. Lemon oil contains petroleum disilates { paint thinner} which will ironically and moronically dry out a fret board. Believe it or not , I use Hoppes no. 9 oil which is used for firearms and the wood stcks on firearms. It's a clear white oil that is clean, won't gum up, and penetrates quickly. A guitar buddy of mine uses olive oil on his axes. I never tried the product you have mentioned but read the lable and see if it contains petroleum disilates. If it doesn't it is ok to use.

| soulman...man i posted that long time ago on the old forum....people could not understand i would do that to my 74 lp delux,,,,were shock at the piont as well,,,,,,let alone all of the jokes .but u know what old school for sure .and trust this ol hippie it works dam well,,,,, olive oil .............fact .................my 2 cents...lp57

| Good, bad, or indifferent, I've been using Fast Fret for as long as I can remember. I don't use it often, and don't use much when I do, but it seems to do the trick. I even put some on the nut at string changes - it seems to help with sticking. SG

| That was quite awhile ago Les, I guess some brain cells don't replenish themselves.  But you got my point. As far as my brain is concerned it still works. Let them give me any kind of test they want. Let them examine my head. They'll find nothing!
