And very nice they are too i may say!  I haven't felt envy like that, since her husband went to work on an oil rig.

 Nothing fancy here.

Well guys, (most here know this) finally got in a gigging band, with six dates and New Years eve lined up for the next two months. The more we play, the more we get booked. On to Bangor!

It justifies the purchase of the Maple Customs.

More dates than I ever played with any other band here, and when our female singer had to drop out due to having a baby, I pitched in with a  3 way split on lead vocals.

Any pics of that Camco set?

Good to be back "home" (Is that John Denver singing in the background? Or Slipknot playing?)

Gigging, cleaning up the yard before the 5 month freeze, hanging with my wife.  Other than that, not much that is new.

Stan...

I have been ranting and raving about various things that are irrelevant to most every living being on this planet. But on Mars... WOW are they with me!

What just happened?

I'll admit that I spent some time at the Gearl forum. It was pretty frustrating though. They just don't appreciate the style of "tormentoring" that goes on at this site.

Invariably, when I tried to offer constructive criticism it was taken as an insult and I was called a troll or worse.

On the other hand, when I tried to insult someone there they never seemed to recognize the sarcasm. It's no fun to fling insults when you have to later explain to the target why he should be offended.

Other than that, I played some gigs. I spent a little bit of time at some great forums (billy ward, ghostnote, drumsmith etc). I also made steps towards getting back into teaching. Anyone in Seattle wanna take some drum lessons?

PS I tried to post this response earlier but for some reason it didn't appear to go through...

I posted 'em at www.drumpix.com and linked 'em to Billy's site, but I haven't figured out how to post them here yet.
