| Admin, Is there a possibility to add a "Happenings" catagory where we could post about shows, jams, etc, that forum members are playing at. Also what about a "Forum Trading Post" catagory where we could post items for sale, trade or wanted ? Thanks , Bill

| Great ideas! For now we want to keep the # of categories small for less confusion. I see the "Music: Yours and Theirs" forum as the place to post upcoming gigs and other happening, as well as latest recordings and discussion on the music you're listening to. Perhaps we need to change the title of this forum. As membership hopefully grows, we can separate this in the future. If you have suggestions for a forum name that better encorporates these topics, I'm all ears... As for a Trading Post, this is something that I'd like to do in the future, but there are some issues. It's one thing if during a thread a couple members decide to sell or trade equipment, but there is some concern with potential legal issues if we promote this in a forum of its own. I'm not sure of the requirements to provide such a service, and it may not be a big deal, but we'll need to look into it a bit more. KEEP THE IDEAS COMING! Matt |

| Hi Matt, Sorry I had forgotten your name. I think "Guitar Talk" pretty much says it all, and it's cool with me. Addressing the For Sale, Trade post, I know in several other forums I belong to some corporate sponsored and some private all have a disclaimer that they are in no way responsible for the posting or subsequent sale/trade issues that may arise. I actually think on the old forum although we never had an official "for sale/trade area" there were sales that took place. Hopefully this is a feature that we will be able to add at some point in time. I have actually linked this forum in my website as a forum I recommend, perhaps others can do the same in their sites.
