Saw Galactic last week at the Roxy in Atlanta . Good show. Been getting into some Stanton Moore lately. He gave his all live. Pretty funky band for a bunch o' white boys . Drank a six pack before the show (took the next day off) and was feeling the groove . The line for the smoking area was ridiculous at intermission . I've never had to wait in line to smoke a cigarette before. Can't quit though because I like being labeled a social pariah (even if it kills me ). Ended up drinking about 11. Ordered in a vat of Vietnamese noodle soup the next day which helped the hangover immensely.

You mean my blurry little avatar?  Why that's John Henry hisself.  More or less the same shot they used for the cover to "A Thunder Of Drums."

The personal pic in my profile ain't me either, I'm much younger than ol' Stewy.

Check out my webpage to get your Krispy fix.

Glad to hear you're doing alright...

So.  How about that war, eh?

Looks a little animated for Bonham .Freedom and democracy are  on the way  in Iraq and hopefully now that Arafat has expired  a Palestinean  state is imminent . Things are looking up. Now if we can just get Jimmy Carter to negotiate another nuke deal with N. Korea... Which lame horse  are the Dems gonna ride  in 2008 ?

For a Palestinian State, you need to get rid of Sharon and the Likud extremists.

Yeah, I can tell freedom is on the way in Iraq with two Marine Regiments sweeping Falluja they'll have democracy whether they want it or not!

Democracy is NOT the ideal...............democracy is mob rule.

Hey Bubba , you changed your moniker. Hope you are well. I disagree that most of them don't want democracy (or a representative republic ). They do want autonomy . Hope all is well in the desert. Sharon isn't the problem . He'll broker a similar deal to Barak.

"Looks a little animated for Bonham"

Huh?  So you're saying Bonham was a slow-moving sloth on the drums?  I'll forgive you if you haven't seen the DVD...

OK, picture this: Madison Square Garden.  Moby ****.  The tympani solo.  That's my avatar.

"Freedom and democracy are on the way in Iraq"???!!!!

Puh-LEEZE!

That place is far, FAR worse off than before we barged in.

Remember - the Diocletian formula for assuming total control is a) problem b) reaction c) solution.

Create a problem (ie. back Sadaam and empower him to "abuse" his own people (and a few neighbors).)

Stimulate a reaction from your constituency (ie. "Gosh, that Sadaam is worse than Hitler!  He's gotta GO!")

Offer a solution (ie. invade, dismantle, and create chaos.)

In this case, the Neocons have scored a rare "twofer".  They've solved that nagging "Iraq Problem" for their Zionist masters, and they've created a fertile breeding ground for future "terrorism".  A growth industry if there ever was one.  And it's looking like Iran is next.

Are you really safer now than you were three years ago?
