These strings came stock on my new Ibanez BTB 405, and I am sorry I have never tried these before. These are way better than the Polyweb Elixirs.  Iv'e seen some reviews on these strings { the Nanowebs } and people trashed them. I can't see how? These strings are great !  They feel smooth, provide rich tight bass, have sweet mids, and nice, clear, bell like highs. What more can a bass player ask for?  If you don't like these then you must use flatwounds because that is the only reason I can see for not liking them.  These are way better than D'ADs Pro-Steels. Way better than DR's too. Im HOOKED !

The Hammer.

VENI, VIDI, VICI.

Underestimate No One.

Soulman, I can't speek for bass players as I don't play bass, but all my acoustics now have Elixer nanowebs on them. I first tried the polyweb and thought they were OK but a friend of mine suggested giving the nanowebs a try. They proved to have a much brighter and louder response and I like the feel of them better. I have yet to try the d'Addario's coated strings but I have some on order from my local dealer right now. Who knows, I might swich again. They seem to get great reviews.  --DanO--
