Congratulations crazy legs!! I've been wanting to buy one of these as well, but it will be awhile. Enjoy playing it for both of us, okay? Prank BTW, are you a dancer? My Anna-Maria is tring to teach me to dance, but it appears to be a lost cause. But it is a good cardio workout even if I look like Elaine from Seinfeld, or worse!!

hey prank, good to see you again! if you can find any good sounding cheap drums, i really beg you to buy one... its really gives you a fresh approach to music and in particular percussion. having the get the bass note, back beat and time-keeping subdivisions all on the one drum has already taught me alot about using space in my playing.... and letting each sound being heard. I've found that my kick drum sound has actually become more 'important' and obvious in my kit playing now... but most importantly im having fun, and trying something new! About the dancing, i did in my younger days, and now normally without fail after 6 drinks. the most important thing about dancing is to give up fear of man.... just go for it, after a while it might even be enjoyable! like everything in life, practice makes perfect... but having a good time is the important thing.

One of the best gigs I have seen in a long time was (Banjo player) Alison Brown - her drummer played a drumset consisting of 16" DW Bass drum 12" Remo Djembe (in snare position) Hihats and 3 other cymbals He used Sticks,Hotrods, brushes or just his hands, you didn't miss the fact there wasn't a snare drum. Experiment…. Mick
