Guitar Humidipak Maintain

I've been using the maintain system for years and it works great. I use it in the case of my Breedlove and recommend it to make sure your guitar has no humidity issues/

I replaced my 'Maintain Humidipack' a couple of weeks ago. It has been with my guitar in a closed, solid, case. I have opened it briefly twice to check the humidity level and then closed the case immediately. My hygrometer in the case was reading 59 - 60%. I believe this should be 45-50%. I'm concerned that the humidipack is not regulating the humidity level correctly.

Sadly the Humidipak Maintain did nothing to bring humidity level down from 63 in my guitar case, so I bought Humidipak Absorb in the hope that it would do the job, but it too had zero effect. I am nevertheless expecting that the Humidipak Maintain will be better at boosting humidity in my guitar case when humidity is on the low side. For periods in which humidity is high, I think I am going to have to invest in a dehumidifier to reduce the humidity of the whole room.

It is a slick system. I'm using 4 paks suspended in 2 of your saddle holders in my D18.

Unfortunately the last shipment I ordered was stolen, but I've been using these for years. I live in the Mojave Desert and I own several high end acoustic guitars. It's critical that I keep them hydrated and these humidipaks do the trick. They're easy to use and effective. My only complaint is the bags that hold them wear out over time and sometimes they're difficult to get the packs into. Other than that I live them.

I reside in a desert environment so these packs are a necessity. They really do the job.

Jury still out on this item, although things look promising! Humidity is now at 44% in both of my Taylor’s cases.

Price is right - Product works well for what it is designed for. Have been using for about 2 years in all my guitars - No negatives - only positives.

Well worth the cost. If your using them in a hard case they have a long life. Depending on the conditions they last me often 5-6 months. I live were the humidity and winters are more moderate so it may be different if you’re living somewhere with more extreme humidity, dry air, etc. still would be worth the piece of mind.

Live in Denver & Summit county Co and wouldn't go anywhere without these super flexible humidity control devices..... I have them in all of our acoustic guitars along with a wifi monitor to keep track of each guitars humidity conditions.
