Andrew Brozek grew up in Montana, but a lot of his musical education came from elsewhere: especially old records and songbooks, and the long lineage of American roots music. A singer-songwriter, educator, and multi-instrumentalist, he’s at home on guitar as he is on banjo and mandolin. A Dartmouth alum, Andrew has all the curiosity of the students he teaches, with the seasoned instincts of a traditionalist. The result is music that feels at once familiar and deeply personal, rooted in history but never content to simply recreate it.
