About Brandon Khoo

Brandon Khoo is a Singaporean drummer, educator, producer, and recording artist who’s spent more than two decades performing, recording, and teaching across rock, progressive metal, pop, and contemporary music. In 2017, he became the first Asian drummer featured on Drumeo, and in 2024, the first Asian drummer nominated for a Drumeo Award in the TikTok Drummer of the Year category. He’s the founding drummer of progressive metal band COEN, and has worked with prog metal legends including Dream Theater’s Jordan Rudess and Angra and Megadeth’s Kiko Loureiro. Beyond performance, he’s contributed to major creative projects including the video game Diablo IV and the official theme song for Singapore Premier League club Lion City Sailors.
