About Henry Solomon

Henry Solomon is an American saxophonist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. A solo artist, collaborator, and sought-after session musician, Solomon’s signature sound jumps seamlessly between contemporary jazz, experimental music, pop, and improvisational styles. His catalog includes releases such as Night Time Head Crunch, Buscando El Sol with David Binney and Mateo Ottonello, and Seeing Is Forgetting, a collaborative album with composer Elori Saxl. A sought-after session musician, he’s recorded for artists including Paramore, HAIM, Vampire Weekend, Miley Cyrus, Louis Cole, and Mon Laferte, and even performed Lisa Simpson's saxophone parts for Disney+'s When Billie Met Lisa. Solomon has toured internationally with acts including HAIM, Louis Cole Big Band, Thumpasaurus, and David Binney, while continuing to creative his own projects as a composer, producer, and curator. Based around Los Angeles' vibrant creative music scene, he also leads the Café Triste residency, mentoring young musicians through guest teaching.
