Horace Bray is a Los Angeles-based guitarist, composer, and producer whose music blends contemporary jazz and Americana with improvisational songwriting and roots-inspired textures. A graduate of the University of North Texas, Bray was the first undergraduate in 15 years to earn the guitar chair in the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band, while his debut album, Dreamstate, earned him widespread acclaim and industry-wide attention.
Alongside his solo work, Bray has toured and recorded with artists including Maggie Rogers, Benson Boone, Jordin Sparks, and India.Arie, balancing genre-defying artistry with the versatility of a first-call session musician. His work also extends into production and experimental collaborations, including his lofi project Felty, as he continues pushing the boundaries of experimental jazz songwriting.
