Jules Baeten

Jules Baeten is a Belgian clarinetist and an award-winning performer with a rapidly growing international reputation. He’s earned top honors at major competitions including First Prize at the 2022 InMusic Clarinet Festival Competition and the Swiss International Music Competition, along with a gold medal at the 2018 Vienna International Music Competition. Since 2023, Jules has served as Principal Clarinettist of Philzuid (South Netherlands Philharmonic) and is regularly invited as guest principal with leading orchestras including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra, and Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. He’s performed at the Concertgebouw, Royal Albert Hall, and Rudolfinum. In addition to his orchestral career, Jules is a dedicated educator committed to helping the next generation of students.
