As a half round phosphor bronze acoustic guitar set, Flat Tops are designed to significantly reduce unwanted finger noise. Combining tried-and-true phosphor bronze tone with a smoother feel and quieter playing experience, they’re excellent for recording—and slide guitar playing. Flat Tops are made with a high carbon steel core and phosphor bronze wrap wire, which is then precision ground and polished, leaving behind a semi-flat string with a smooth feel and beautifully balanced tone. These 10-47 Extra Light gauge strings are easy to play and easy to bend.

Great Strings for Tone and Ease of Playing

I have a 45-year-old 12-string acoustic guitar that was getting very hard to play. The 12 strings were putting so much tension on the neck the bow was too much and adjusting the tension rod couldn't fix it. I took 6 strings off and the neck came back to good shape, but it was still a bit difficult to play. I put the 10-47 flat top PB acoustic strings on and they made a world of difference in ease of play and a great tone. I'm loving them.
