Like most guitarist I have tried various string through the years. I find myself always coming back to 13-56 Medium, XT Phosphor Bronze Coated Acoustic Guitar Strings. They sound and feel right to me.

I had always hated coated strings. In the old days they just sounded muted, and they were. i stopped in my local music store a couple of years ago and they were out of my strings, so not knows D'Addario XTs were coated, I bought a couple of sets. i played them for a few weeks and fell in love. A few weeks later I discovered the were coated. I was both in disbelief, and in love. Nothing but XTs since on my 5 guitars.
