I’m able to get a full focused sound with these reeds.Also, they are more consistent than other reeds I have used. I used to buy Vandoren reeds, traditional blue box, but I find that only a few of them in a box of ten are actually playable.These Hemke reeds seem suitable for both classical and commercial music. I studied classical clarinet in university, but now earn a living playing jazz standards on the alto saxophone.
