I really like these strings on my P and jazz basses. Because of the smaller diameter. It gives clarity and playability. Your fingers don't wear out from higher tension. Imagine losing 10lbs of tension on the G string. Yeah that much. You keep the bass tone and get clarity. On top of that, the string tension is balanced. Which means the strings are within 7 lbs of each other. the string set tension range is from 30 to 37. Versus 30 - 47. I'm glad I switched.
