About Declan Sheehy-Moss
Declan Sheehy-Moss is a New York City-born multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, and artist known for blending jazz, pop, funk, electronic, and experimental music into a unique dynamic sound that’s entirely his. Working right out of his Brooklyn studio, Declan combines uses analog synths, EWI, effects, and a wide range of unconventional tools to build richly layered sonic worlds. Since 2017, he’s written, produced, recorded, mixed, and released multiple singles and EPs while also performing and recording with artists including Black Pumas, Redveil, Henry Threadgill, and Mavi. His performances have brought him to major venues and festivals such as Newport Jazz Festival, BAM, Symphony Space, and Monterey Jazz Festival. In 2025, he was selected for the Jazz & Sonic Arts Residency at the Banff Centre, where he formed his newest project, DRYP. He released his debut jazz album, BOUNCE, in 2026, co-produced by Henry Threadgill.
