Larry Campbell

Larry Campbell is a Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter in the Americana, folk, and rock genres.

“I play quite a few string instruments and have been using D'Addario strings and other products for quite a few decades now. I'd say the high quality, dependability and consistency are what keeps me coming back.”

About Larry Campbell

There aren’t many musicians who’ve left fingerprints on American roots music quite like Larry Campbell. A master of guitar, fiddle, mandolin, pedal steel, and just about anything with strings, Campbell has spent decades performing, recording, and producing alongside icons like Bob Dylan, Levon Helm, Keith Richards, Mavis Staples, Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, and Emmylou Harris. He spent seven years with Bob Dylan on the Never Ending Tour and contributing to Love & Theft. Campbell also became the musical director and Grammy-winning producer behind Levon Helm's celebrated late-career renaissance, Midnight Rambles, and has been honored with the Americana Music Association's Lifetime Achievement Award for Instrumentalist.
